Wheat Ridge Cultural Commission Grant Opportunities Available January 4, 2023

The Wheat Ridge Cultural Commission today announced new grant opportunities to fund community-initiated activities, events, and projects that focus on or raise awareness of the arts and culture in Wheat Ridge. An eligible project will advance the Wheat Ridge Cultural Commission’s mission to promote culture and the arts that both directly and indirectly benefits residents of the city through cultural enrichment and educational opportunities, and to help provide visibility for these activities by encouraging the production of exhibitions, fairs, and similar events.

“These grant opportunities seek to bring beauty and artistic expression to the community while celebrating the array of diverse communities that make Wheat Ridge unique and vibrant,” said Cultural Commission Chair, Kathleen Martell.

Organizations and individuals can submit an application for grant funding up to $500 for an event, activity, or project happening between May to September of 2023. Interested parties can access the application and learn about the qualifying criteria by visiting the Wheat Ridge Cultural Commission Facebook page
