Wheat Ridge residents are invited to share their thoughts and opinions on the proposed 44th Avenue Subarea project, September 27 from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center (4005 Kipling St). This is the final open house style event for the 44th Avenue project. The goal of this open house is to confirm recommendations to improve 44th Avenue that have been presented by the community. In addition, the team will be exploring how these ideas can be implemented. “The 44th Ave Subarea plan focuses on the portion of the city between Clear Creek and I-70. This is an area ripe for investment and we are excited to have public input on the overall vision moving forward,” said City of Wheat Ridge Manager Patrick Goff. “Having citizen input has been the main priority to developing a plan for 44th. We have had great success at these open house events, and the team is looking forward to exploring how the ideas the public has presented can be implemented,” said Project Manager Stephanie Stevens. Event details can be found at WhatsUpWheatRidge.com/44th-Avenue. This event will be a joint open house with the City’s Open Space Management Plan. Learn more at WhatsUpWheatRidge.com.
