The City of Wheat Ridge is committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and the Outside Agency Program is one way the City helps support those non-profit organizations providing valuable local services to those in need.
Eligible organizations applying for funds must be non-profit organizations recognized as a non-denominational 501 (c) (3) pursuant to 26 U.S.C. Organizations must be able to demonstrate that the services they provide directly serve Wheat Ridge residents. Funds are available for organizations and as sponsorship for events.

The Outside Agency Program Committee will review the applications and make recommendations to City Council on funding amounts. Applicants should be prepared to give a 10-minute presentation to the committee on May 18, May 25, June 8or June 15 about the applicant organization, and be available for questions. All applications should include a copy of the organization’s most recent budget documents including revenues and expenditures.
