TLC Clean Up Days

The Wheat Ridge TLC Neighborhood program is a collaborative effort by WRPD, the City Community Development, Parks and Recreation, and Public Works departments, and Localworks.
Wheat Ridge TLC stands for Traffic Safety, Life Quality, and Crime Reduction. The program is conducted every year by the Community Services Team and is designed to engage the community in proactive code enforcement strategies.
Part of the program is the annual Dumpster Days. Trash dumpsters are provided free of charge within selected neighborhoods to assist and encourage residents to properly dispose of items that are difficult and sometimes expensive to remove

  • All patrons must remain in their vehicles until their turn to dump and directed to do so.
  • Social distancing must be adhered to at all times.
  • Masks, eye protection, and gloves will be required to be worn by all personnel and volunteers. A minimum of face covering is required to be worn by patrons while dumping.
  • Patrons will be required to dump on their own and will need to bring help with them for large items as CSOs and volunteers should not be assisting with dumping in an effort to protect the health and safety of our personnel.
