CDOT has shifted lanes westbound on I-70 between Hwy 50 and W. 32nd Ave off ramps. Please use caution.
The development at Clear Creek Crossing west of I-70 at Youngfield, is underway and commuters will notice lane shifts over the coming months as construction begins on the hook ramps from the highway into the site. The hook ramps are being funded by the 2E Ballot initiative passed by voters in 2016 increasing sales tax by ½ cent. Watch for lane shifts planned by CDOT to accommodate construction west of the Hwy 58 exit ramp before the 32nd Ave off ramp. Construction is planned for completion in late fall.
For questions about traffic issues related to construction at that location, call the CDOT hotline at 720-998-6223.
Clear Creek Crossing (hook ramps) is one of the four Investing 4 the Future projects funded by the 2E ballot initiative voters approved to increase sales tax by ½ cent. The other project include Anderson Park Improvements (completed June 2019); Wheat Ridge Ward Station pedestrian bridge, trail and infrastructure; and the widening of Wadsworth.
