Appointments are highly encouraged to ensure the appropriate staff are available to help you.  Depending on staff availability, appointments may be able to be accommodated outside of normal walk-in hours.

Same Day Permit Review
Permit applications which are eligible for same day review may be submitted during these hours:
Thursday & Friday only
9:00 am - 11:00 am

Building Division Availability


  • Building Division staff are unavailable every Tuesday 7:00 am - 8:00 am due to Division Staff Meeting
  • Building Inspectors are available for consultation by appointment only during the hours of 8 am - 9 am
  • Building Inspections start at 7:45 am

Planning Staff Availability


  • Planner of the Day (POD) on duty Monday through Friday, 9 am - 4 pm, except during scheduled meetings
  • Staff is unavailable every Tuesday from 1:30 pm - 3 pm due to Division Staff Meeting
  • Staff is unavailable every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm due to Development Review Team Meeting
  • Staff is unavailable every Thursday from 2 pm - 4 pm due to Pre-application Conferences
