The Regional Transportation District (RTD) has more than 170 bus routes, a 14-mile light rail line, and a variety of special transportation services designed to meet commuter and business needs in the Denver Metro area.

The Gold Line

The Gold Line is a proposed 11.2 mile rail transit corridor from Denver Union Station to the vicinity of Ward Road, passing through northwest Denver, unincorporated Adams County, Arvada, and Wheat Ridge.

Denver International Airport (DIA) is currently the fifth busiest airport in the United States averaging over 1,400 flights a day during and reported passenger traffic of 37,505,138 for 2003. DIA is served by over 25 domestic, international, and foreign scheduled passenger airlines and national carriers, and over 11 cargo carriers which provide nonstop daily service to more than 126 national and international destinations.

The Denver International Airport Partnership group was established to provide an opportunity to impact the growth and development of the northeast metro region.
