Claims
Risk Management coordinates and administers various claims generated from City operations including:
Workers' compensation
Auto liability
General liability
Personal liability
Property liability
Risk Management also provides assistance with accident investigations, in-service safety training programs, administering safety programs and policies, and development and revision of safety programs as needed.
Responsibilities Risk Management is also responsible for the following:
Coordinating Citywide insurance coverage
Recommending and coordinating policy on risk management matters
Processing property and casualty claims
Managing risk exposures, loss prevention and risk control, and risk retention while protecting the financial assets of the City
