Claims
Risk Management coordinates and administers various claims generated from City operations including:
- Workers' compensation
- Auto liability
- General liability
- Personal liability
- Property liability
Risk Management also provides assistance with accident investigations, in-service safety training programs, administering safety programs and policies, and development and revision of safety programs as needed.
Responsibilities
Risk Management is also responsible for the following:
- Coordinating Citywide insurance coverage
- Recommending and coordinating policy on risk management matters
- Processing property and casualty claims
- Managing risk exposures, loss prevention and risk control, and risk retention while protecting the financial assets of the City
