Risk Management

Claims
Risk Management coordinates and administers various claims generated from City operations including:
  • Workers' compensation
  • Auto liability
  • General liability
  • Personal liability
  • Property liability
Risk Management also provides assistance with accident investigations, in-service safety training programs, administering safety programs and policies, and development and revision of safety programs as needed.

Responsibilities
Risk Management is also responsible for the following:
  • Coordinating Citywide insurance coverage
  • Recommending and coordinating policy on risk management matters
  • Processing property and casualty claims
  • Managing risk exposures, loss prevention and risk control, and risk retention while protecting the financial assets of the City
