Roofing Permit Application

  1. This application is exclusively for new roofing permits and for licensed contractors only. Permits are processed and issued in the order they are received. You will be notified if your contractor's license or insurance has expired. The license and insurance must be current before the permit will be processed.


    For all other requests:
    Homeowners wishing to obtain a roofing permit must apply for the permit in person at City Hall. Revisions to existing permits (for example, to add redecking) must be completed in person at City Hall. The Building Division permit counter is open from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday to process these types of requests.


    THIS APPLICATION DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A PERMIT. DO NOT BEGIN REROOFING UNTIL PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED.

  15. To have your application processed and permit emailed to you, you must attach a completed credit card authorization form. Permit fees over $2,500 will require permit to be picked up in person and paid with a check. IF A CREDIT CARD FORM IS NOT ATTACHED, THE PERMIT MUST BE PICKED UP AND PAYMENT WILL BE DUE AT PICK-UP.
