Wheat Ridge Parks, Forestry and Open Space Division
The Parks, Forestry and Open Space Division oversees parks, trails and open space sites, and recreation facilities within the City of Wheat Ridge.  The Parks Maintenance Section strives to provide a safe and aesthetic environment for users of City-owned developed parkland and facilities. 

Parks Maintenance Section
  • Maintains all landscapes at City parks and facilities
  • Maintains irrigation systems in parks
  • Maintains a variety of facilities including the Outdoor Municipal Swimming Pool, Historical Park, Richards-Hart Estate, Baugh Property, and irrigation ditches dating back to 1860
