This ad hoc Citizen Budget Oversight Committee's goal is to provide a citizen's analysis and perspective of 2010 programs and services provided by the City to its citizens and the long-term revenues needed to fund such programs and services.

To review the overall financial condition of the City, review existing revenue streams, review the projected 2010 program budgets, prioritize each of these programs, and to ensure the City maintains compliance with federal and state mandates, accomplishes the goals outlined in the City Strategic Plan, provide program funding recommendations, and provide recommendations for increased and diverse revenues in an executive summary to the City Council.

The Citizen's Budget Oversight Committee does not have any further meetings scheduled following the presentation of its recommendations to the City Council at the July 6th, 2009 Study Session.  However, the committee may convene again at a future time at the request of the City Council.
