G Line Testing


As of July 20, 2018, the Gold Line testing has begun.

The Gold Line will be testing 3 trains at 30 minute headways, throughout the day and night. The trains will be running between 3 a.m. to 1 a.m. everyday going forward. 

We are excited to begin this next phase in the G Line progress.

City of Wheat Ridge Implements Stage 2 Fire Ban

With the high fire danger across our state this year due to the lack of rain, the City of Wheat Ridge Emergency Manager has implemented a temporary Stage 2 fire ban recently enacted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

The use of fire pits, fire rings and Chimineas are also banned for private use during a Stage 2 fire ban. Currently only devices that are liquid fueled or gas fueled are allowed. In other words, gas grills, gas fire pits, gas stoves, and gas lanterns are ...

WRPD and Localworks Hold TLC Clean Up Days for 2018

During TLC Clean Up days, trash dumpsters are provided free of charge within selected neighborhoods to assist and encourage residents to properly dispose of items that are difficult and sometimes expensive to remove.
