Beginning Friday, Dec. 21, Wheat Ridge residents interested in applying for the position of City Treasurer may submit applications.
The City Treasurer is required to be a registered elector of the city for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months immediately preceding appointment, and must remain a resident of Wheat Ridge throughout his or her entire appointment.
According to Sec. 3.10 of the City Charter, the responsibilities of the City Treasurer are as follows:
Interested Wheat Ridge residents must submit a completed application by Friday, January 25, 2019, at 5 p.m. All qualified candidates will be confirmed by email and asked to provide a three – five minute presentation to City Council on Monday, February 4, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. Applications are available on the City website ci.wheatridge.co.us City Treasurer page.
