Road and bridge work starts Wednesday on Sheridan Boulevard between 25th and 52nd Avenues

Sheridan Blvd.

Starting Wed. Sept. 20, the Colorado Department of Transportation and Jalisco International Inc. will begin a roadway improvement project on Colorado Highway 95 (Sheridan Boulevard) between 25th and 52nd Avenues with nighttime paving.

Work includes curb ramp accessibility improvements, sidewalk replacement, street light installation, traffic signal improvements and an asphalt overlay. This project also includes repairs to the bridge over Clear Creek just north of Interstate 76. Construction will continue through spring 2017.

The project will be completed in phases in order to minimize traffic impacts. In mid-September, crews will begin night time paving northbound and when that is completed head back on the southbound side of Sheridan.

If you have questions or concerns, call the project information line at 303-802-6101 or send an email to: co95sheridan@gmail.com.
