Localworks and Wheat Ridge Police Host First of Three District Clean Up Days

The first of four Clean Up Days will be held on Saturday, June 3, at Clear Creek Church at 10555 W. 44th Avenue in Wheat Ridge. Trash, recycling and yard debris will be accepted at that location from 8 a.m. until noon or until all the bins are full.

For this first event, solid, non-hazardous waste, yard debris, furniture, general trash, and non-recyclable junk will be accepted in the trash containers. Wheat Ridge residents are welcome in any district where a Clean Up Day is being held. Additional Clean Up Days scheduled this summer include: July 8 from 8 a.m. – noon (or until bins are full) Glory of God Church 12200 W. 38th Ave. Trash, recycling and green waste accepted August 19 from 8 a.m. – noon (or until bins are full) St. Peter and Paul Church 3900 Pierce St. Trash, recycling and green waste accepted September 23 from 8 a.m. – noon (or until bins are full) Wheat Ridge Congregational Church 6310 W. 29th Ave. Trash, recycling and green waste accepted
